Before 2002
Trained as an artistic director, Jean-Marie Minazio worked for more than ten years in creation studios and communication agencies. In parallel, he created “on demand” while exploring the potential of digital creation tools and participated in several collective exhibits.
2002-2004
Research with new technology.
2004
Jean-Marie Minazio decided to create without constraints of time or space, and became a member of the “Maison des artistes” and of “SACEM”. He first defined the basis of his research and put forward “Fractal Univers" through one hundred or so works of art of regular size, declined in various style of writing. Nonetheless they seemed to be a little confined on living rooms walls. He thus evolved towards formats and mountings of an other dimension, which may be declined on paper, glass, canvas… “Les murs, Un autre regard”, in 2004, was his first exhibit of the kind, including “Envol vers ailleurs (Soaring Off) ”, a 300 m2 monumental piece.
2005
Jean-Marie Minazio created the “Pixel and Atom Art” movement and offers, in the continuity of his intellectual approach, an “alternative to appearance”. He opens himself to other disciplines such as music, video, installations.
2006
He put forward his first “Manifeste” defining the basis which characterize the artistic movement of which he is the founder.
August 2006, Jean-Marie Minazio presented “Avat’Art Project” in Boston , the first 3d art gallery accessible from the web.
