SOARING OFF
CONCEPT
Airport & Mandalas.
 Nice-Côte-d'Azur airport, the gateway to Côte d'Azur is transformed in a show of the most important cultural events in the region and welcomes visitors under the sign of Art. Terminal 2 walls get adorn with giant canvas, creating a real harmony between the airport architecture and this work of art : the hall is beaming with a new light telling one's a silent story of emotion and dreams. Mandala is most of the time a visual composed of circles and various forms. One can find creation close to the mandalas in all culture at any period : the Christian stained-glasses, the sacred painting from Tibet, the oriental art. Mandalas represent the world order in a universal symbolic dimension. A great message in a hosting and transit place of visitors from all over the world.

Within the framework of the cultural event : " Les murs, un autre regard " (Walls, another look) An initiative of the Cultural Affairs Department of Nice City, in partnership with the French Riviera Chamber of Commerce.

LOCATION : Departure Hall Terminal 2 - Nice Côte d'Azur Airport

PERIOD : May - June - July 2004.
