AUTOIDS :
What is an Autoïd ? Litterally means : « in shape of myself », in my image. They are symbolical representations of my inner psyche and the order of the world. Both of these being similar, since “what is above is below as well”. They call out to our subconscious psychic structures. Each of them is the synthesis of a global perception of the forces, strengths and various expressions of life. Colors and shapes combine in symbols, shadows, lights in history and carve in the material in man’s reach a general and symbolic vision of what is above and what is below…

PROJECTIONS :
The collection « Projections » is an attempt of symbolical representation of the order of the world, in particular on the level of the extremes; the infinitely small world and the infinitely large one. These projections are imaginary photographs of atomic movements composed of hundreds of thousands, even perhaps a few million, stars. These are works of art of a very large smoothness of realization, with a plethora of details, like the subatomic world and interstellar world. The dark, the light, the vacuum, the full one, the nothing, the whole. What is more symbolic than a star in the black sky? Immense sun in the interstellar vacuum or floating atom in the quantum vacuum?

SPHERES :
The square shape of the work symbolizes the material, the finished product, the concrete opposed to the spheres which symbolize the opposite notions. The principal adjectives used to define our physical reality are present, in a visible or suggested manner, in each piece of work : Light- obscurity, flat-round, empty- full, smooth- rough, basic- complex, attraction- repulsion, fusion- fission, as well as group -individual, harmony- disharmony, order- chaos, etc… It "seems real", yet it resembles nothing known in the real world… It reminds us of a certain material, but which one? Elements of an organic, vegetal or mineral origin?

HUMANSPHERE :
Observation of the "possible as soon as tomorrow" human. Genetic manipulation, medical nanotechnology , implants of all sorts, modification of one or more organs, transplants, etc… Popularisation of surgery with esthetic motives only, of the commonness of surgery, "ready to implant" society. Sometimes experimental reconstruction surgery, face transplant, head transplant, always putting off the limits of what is possible. Mastered artificial insemination, possibility to choose the egg, which will soon turn into the possibility of choosing our hair color, and later the possibility of choosing "quality", physical as well as intellectual, and the rejection of "flaws". Nearly successful parthenogenesis.
